Roasted turkey drumsticks

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • Turkey drumsticks2 (900–1000 g)
  • Garlic – to taste
  • Rosemary – to taste
  • Salt – to taste

  • Salt – to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the turkey drumsticks in a large pot, add salt, and fill with enough water to fully cover the meat. Bring to a boil (about 15 minutes), then simmer for another 15 minutes.
  2. While the turkey is simmering, peel and slice the garlic and rinse the rosemary.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F (160°C/320°F for a convection oven).
  4. Remove the drumsticks from the pot, make two slits on each, and insert garlic slices and rosemary leaves into the cuts.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40–50 minutes (35–45 minutes in a convection oven), or until the drumsticks are fully cooked and nicely browned.
