Mini oladyi (Slavic pancakes)

Ingredients (80 pcs / 400 g):

  • Flour200 g
  • Eggs – 1
  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Apple cider vinegar (5%) – 2 tbsp (16 g)
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp (16 g) + more as needed
  • Sugar – 2 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp (3 g)
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp (3 g)

Ingredients (80 pcs / 400 g):

  • Flour200 g

  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Apple cider vinegar (5%) – 2 tbsp (16 g)
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp (16 g) + more as needed
  • Sugar – 2 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp (3 g)
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp (3 g)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the vinegar with the milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes, add the sifted flour, egg, sugar, salt, baking soda, and 2 tbsp of sunflower oil. Mix well until you get a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a small amount of sunflower oil in a pan and spread it evenly over the surface.
  4. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the pan using a level teaspoon. Cook over low heat until bubbles start forming on the surface. Then flip and cook for another 20 seconds, or until golden brown.
