Chicken skewers in soy sauce

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • Chicken breast500 g
  • Soy sauce70 ml
  • Honey – 30 g
  • Sunflower oil – 10 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Ground coriander – 0.5 tsp
  • Cumin – 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper (ground) – to taste

Chicken skewers in soy sauce

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • Chicken breast500 g
  • Soy sauce70 ml
  • Honey – 30 g
  • Sunflower oil – 10 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Ground coriander – 0.5 tsp
  • Cumin – 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper (ground) – to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into large cubes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, oil, coriander, cumin, black pepper, and peeled garlic pressed through a garlic press. Mix well.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in a container, add the marinade, and mix until the chicken is well coated.
  4. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for 8-12 hours (I usually leave it for a full day).
  5. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for an hour before cooking.
  6. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers. Grill them not too close to the coals, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
