Cod fish patties
Ingredients (2 servings):

Cod fillet
– 250 g

Eggs – 1

White bread – 50 g

Milk – 90 g

Instructions
- Soak the bread in the milk.
- Meanwhile, remove any bones from the cod fillet, cut it into chunks, and blend it in a food processor or grind it in a meat grinder. Transfer the cod to a deep bowl.
- Wash, dry, and finely chop the chives.
- Add the egg, soaked bread (excess milk gently squeezed out), chives, salt, pepper, and turmeric to the cod. Using a fork, mix well until you achieve a homogeneous mixture. Cover and refrigerate for half an hour.
- Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Place spoonfuls of the cod mixture into the pan (the mixture may be somewhat liquid) and cook the patties over low heat with the lid on until they are cooked through, about 10–15 minutes, turning them occasionally.
