Instructions:
Heat the milk without letting it boil.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the flour and mix well until you get a smooth paste.
Increase the heat slightly and cook until the flour turns golden.
Gradually add the milk, along with salt and nutmeg, stirring continuously over medium heat until the béchamel starts to thicken.
